FEI-Jahrestagung 2025 SEPTEMBER 9th
Our Managing Director, Stefan Toepfl, will be at the FEI-Jahrestagung in Neustadt, Germany, to highlight the many benefits of PEF technology for the winemaking industry.
PEF is Shaping the Future of Sustainable, High-Quality Winemaking In 2024, Elea carried out the largest industrial-scale PEF trial to date with the Elea PEF Advantage P100, producing PEF-treated Chardonnay and Montepulciano that delivered expressive results.
In 2025, together with the Italian Association of Oenologists (Assoenologi), we conducted a sensory analysis under controlled conditions, confirming that the only difference was the PEF treatment itself. The outcome was impressive: Chardonnay revealed a more fruity character, while Montepulciano showed a brighter ruby red — alongside many other promising benefits.
